23 Weeks

Hey-O!

Well, pluggin' along at 23 weeks now.  Crazy huh??  A few people have asked this week about the house, but unfortunately, still no word from the bank about approving our offer.  Ugh.  Oh well, wait and see, and hope! (I say I am not going to get invested emotionally yet, or get my hopes up too much, but honestly, I've looked at paint colors and started placing furniture haha.  If I'm disappointed, then oh well.  It's still fun to dream about it!)

Ok, so here I am at 23 weeks preggo:

Baby is as big as an Eggplant - 

How I'm feeling - 
Still good!  I guess little boy decided to move off that nerve that was causing me pain last week, because I don't have that pain anymore woohooo!  I can feel myself getting heavier, and it is more noticeable that I have to carry around some extra baggage these days.  So sitting on my knees to help Charl get dressed, or dried from a bath etc is a bit more tiring.  It's not impossible, but I can definitely tell it is harder!  I'm also getting to bed earlier these days, because I'm so tired.  I'm lucky if I make it to see 10pm!

I went to the docter yesterday for my monthly checkup.  Charl got to help use the machine to find the baby's heartbeat again, which he likes to do.  :)  My OB says little boy's ticker is sounding totally perfect, and he is measuring a little big, but it's nothing to be worried about or anything.  (When I told my mother this, she was like "DUH!!".  I get the feeling she thinks I'm carrying a small whale rather than a baby, since my bump is big haha)

Cravings - 
No cravings anymore.  Though I do find myself often whining saying "I want something but I just don't know what!!".  Which usually ends in me not eating anything at all because I just get too exhausted trying to figure out what exactly I'm wanting.

Food Aversions - 
None.

Favorite things from last week- 
Hearing baby's heartbeat again and feeling him kick and squirm.  

Things I'm looking forward to this week - 
Another "boring" week ahead for us.  Just like I like em!  I've been busy working on some Christmas presents (yes, already) and wanting to get them done asap, just in case we get the call we got the house.  Because I know when that happens, every project will have to be put on hold so we can get everything sorted to close, and move in.  Yipes!  (And please hurry up bank!)
